Re: for those who have gotten the citation (past and present)

    My post was double entendre'd...

    1. I marvel that they let you do that just because you put a phone upside down in your pocket.
    2. I was picking on your typo.

But there'd be no story without all this dissention
So I inflict the conflict with the utmost of intentions

Re: for those who have gotten the citation (past and present)

I earned my citation in 2007 at Denver. My team was less than elated when we sat through the ceremony, because my last name starts with Y, and I was 5th from the last name called. We were joking about billing me as Josh's sister so that I could go with the L's, but of course that didn't happen. Stick out tongue

We're going to have to do that for Miss Yellow Shirt this year, aren't we?

    Yes we are.

However, it shouldn't actually be that bad. We sat through the whole thing last year too.

    Bring a project. I'll be cross-stitching.

    I will NOT be cross-stitching.

I'll wear a pair of pants that I don't mind drawing on. Or maybe I'll write on the Summit bag. Or my shoes.

If my 3 year old was able to sit through it last year you can certainly tolerate itWink

Next year might be a little bit harder. She actually might know a few people so if she recognizes them she may be yelling their names when they are on stage.

Is there anything wrong with yelling?

And I'm sure I'm capable. Last year I made it by making smart-aleck comments.

Re: for those who have gotten the citation (past and present)

    lol-nope.

wrong ages, haven't done the books, you know how it goes...

Actually Steven and Shawn haven't done any of the awana books. We started at this church when he was already in Youth. Christopher did the first T&T book. He is on 6.2 of book 2. He is a LIT for quiz team so hopefully he will finish that book by the end of the year.

Patrick still has 10 more yearsIndifferent

I may be done in time to get my citation in 3 years with you though-we'll see what happens
