I will no longer be teaching puggles.
. The new children's ministry director has decided he wants all the children's Sunday School classes from nursery on up to use the same curriculuum. However, he did say I could ask the two highschool girls who work the nursery during wednesday nights if they would be willing to teach it. The Awana Commander is going to set up a meeting with them for him and I to talk to them and show them the material.
The nursery is only for children of Awana workers. There are 3 kids although one of those sometimes stays home with dad or grandma.

I talked with one of the girls today and showed her the puggles material. She said it looks easy enough and is willing to teach. So i am going to finish up unit 2 in Sunday school, then at the beginning of December Puggles will become part of Awana night. They will teach units 3 and 4 because that will take up the rest of the year. Or close to it anyway.
today the children's ministry director asked if I could bring him a copy of the curriculuum sometime. it eems he may be rethinking, he said he thinks at this age its more important to have something at their level than to be comprehensive with the older classes. not sure thats the word he meant, but thats what he said. anyhow, h ants to compare the puggles material with the preschool material that came with the new sunday school stuff then decide which to use.
And if I still get to teach it on sundays, there is really no reason why they couldn't also teach it on wednesdays because the 3 kids they have: 1 is really to young so she is hee sundays but not in my class yet. turning 1 next week. 1 didthe hole thin lst year, while he i in the 3 year old class on sundays, his parents decide he wasn't ready for cubbies and probably will be starting kindergarten late. his mom thinks repeating the puggles stuff would be good, won't hurt him any. and the last who only comes sometimes comes later on sundays so he misses sunday school.
and to add praise, or church recently made some time chages in sunday school and sermons and in the way the nursery on sundays is run. instead of 2 kids if they both come, I have 5!
